🌊💧 Welcome to a new Sunday of aquascaping from the stunning setting at the foot of Mount Fuji at nascapes.es 🗻🐠. #plantedaquarium #aquariumphilia #aquascaping Today we are going to dive into the fascinating world of water parameters in our aquariums. 🌿🔬 You already know that maintaining the perfect balance in our aquarium is not only a science, but an art. 🎨💦 Here are some key tips that I follow: 1️⃣ KH (Carbonate Hardness): Keep it between 1 and 4 to ensure optimal nutrient absorption by the plants. 2️⃣ GH (General Hardness): Ideal between 4 and 10. 3️⃣ Nitrites (NO2): Always at zero! A high level is a warning sign. 🚨 4️⃣ Nitrates (NO3): Less than 5 to avoid unwanted algae growth. 5️⃣ Phosphate (PO4) and Iron (Fe): Keep them low, just what is necessary for your plants. 6️⃣ pH: Between 6.0 and 7.2 is ideal. Remember, CO2 affects this value. 🌡️🌿 🌟 Remember, each aquarium is a world. What works for one may not be ideal for another. But don't worry, I give you the tools to experiment and find your perfect balance. 🛠️🐟 Don't forget regular water changes!
