With the camper to Iceland. We - Sonja and I, Rupert - tell the story of our camper trip to the island. Details of our travel report - including all GPS data and many additional pictures - can be found on our homepage - TRAVEL REPORTS UNTERWURZACHER: https://unterwurzacher.net/ In the first part we report on the journey from Kuchl (A) via Germany and Denmark (parking space near Ribe) to Hirthals. Then we show excerpts from the ferry crossing (two and a half days) on the MS Norröna. When we arrived in Iceland, we were faced with the question: would we rather go south (storm warning) or north (heavy rain warning), so basically left or right around the island - we decided on the lesser evil, the south. Seyðisfjörður – Egilsstaðir – Hengifoss – Berunes Camping – Stokksnes – Diamond Beach – Skaftafell – Canyon Fjaðrárgljúfur – Vik – Reynisfjara – Douglas Super DC-3 – Skógafoss – that was the first 856 km in Iceland.
