I worked for 10 days at Setsugetsukaro, a rider's house, guesthouse and cafe that was renovated from an abandoned school in my beloved Hokkaido! I was surprised at how busy it was during the peak summer months and was exhausted every day, but I was soothed by Kaka-san's smile and the interactions with customers, and it was a great experience! It was a learning experience for what I want to do in the future, including the practical aspects, and I think I was able to experience the joy of traveling as if I were living there!
