Because of the heatwave, we thought of a cool place to spend a night and a day, and Transfăgărășan came to mind. I was sure that up at Bâlea lac, at 2000 meters altitude, it is cool. We stayed off camping, slept in the car at 12°C, which was super cool and pleasant for us, and the next day we continued on our way to the Vidraru dam.
