Instructions for use of apivaol tablets Composition: Amitraz - 12.5 mg Stabilizer - 25 mg Tablet weight - 0.7 g Description The active substance that eliminates varroatosis in these tablets is N-Methylbisamine. The tablet smolders without a flame during ignition, but emits a large amount of smoke. When the required combustion temperature is reached, the process of evaporation and sublimation of the drug begins, which mixes with smoke and is distributed with the air throughout the hive. Amitraz spreads with smoke, it negatively affects the nervous system of parasites and they soon die. Affected parasites fall from the insects to the bottom of the hive and die there within three days. If the drug is used correctly, it does not cause the death of unclosed bee larvae and will not stop the process of laying eggs by the queen bee. LEAVES AND RELEASE FORM Acaricidal drug, the active ingredient of which is amitraz. In appearance, it is a transparent liquid without color or with a yellowish tint and with a specific odor. Packaged in glass ampoules of 1 ml (20 doses). PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES Bipin has a systemic and contact acaricidal effect against Varroa mites. Bipin is a moderately toxic compound for warm-blooded animals (hazard class III). The drug does not have a negative effect on the vital activity of bee colonies. LD50 of the drug for bees is 10.0 μg / bee, in recommended concentrations it does not have a negative effect on the general condition, development and productivity of bee colonies. INDICATIONS Varroatosis (varroosis) of bees. DOSES AND METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION It is used in the form of an aqueous emulsion. The working emulsion is prepared by thoroughly mixing 1 ml of bipin with 2 liters of clean drinking water, respectively. The solution of the drug prepared in this way is used during the working day. Bee colonies are treated in autumn, when there is a minimum amount of brood and during the formation of a bee cluster, at an outside air temperature of at least 0 °C. Bee colonies are treated by finely pouring the emulsion of the preparation onto the bees in the inter-frame spaces. The consumption rate of the working solution is 10 ml per street of bees. A 2-fold application is recommended: the first treatment immediately after the end of the honey collection and honey extraction; the second - before placing the colonies for wintering (if varroa mites are visible on adult bees). SIDE EFFECTS Not observed in the recommended doses.
