The dream of building a pond on my plot turned out to be beyond my means. Landscape bureaus estimated the work on building a 30-hectare pond at 10 million rubles. I didn’t have that kind of money then. But that wasn’t what prompted me to look for other options. I wanted the pond to be natural and not require constant maintenance and complex equipment for aeration and cleaning. I felt that it was possible and found a solution that helped me build a pond for 300 thousand rubles. You can see this pond behind me in the video. It has been pleasing us for many years and helps maintain the water and climate balance on my plot. Almost 12 years have passed since then. I have designed and built (with the help of equipment and builders, of course) many ponds of different sizes, designs, catchment areas, in different soils, in different climatic zones. I will share this experience on the Zemlematika Bureau channel and the t.me/zemlematika telegram channel.
