Gain chain adjustment is a frequent reason for questions, and in this installment we give you answers to this essential aspect in audio and in particular in the use of mixing consoles. We learn how to make the optimal level adjustment in each channel to obtain a clean sound, without incurring distortion and controlling noise. We will see two different ways to individually adjust each channel, with and without the use of the 'PFL', a very useful resource that is a fundamental support for the person in charge of the table.
