How to KNOW if an INTEGRATED CIRCUIT is DAMAGED In this basic electronics video tutorial we are going to see how to test integrated circuits or integrated circuit also known as chip or microchip is a semiconductor material usually made of silicon and know if the IC is damaged, it is very present in almost all electronic circuits, from computers, printers, microwave ovens, power supplies, phones ETC, for this case we are going to do the procedure with a PWM integrated circuit of a power supply of a DMO- 265R TV the first thing we are going to do is identify the pins on the printed circuit, for this we are going to see an identification in the component a circuit we are going to see each of the legs that they are and what function they do and then with the digital multimeter in continuity scale we are going to see what we did theoretically we are going to put it into practice then we are going to take a voltage measurement to see the supply voltage of the chip in this case 12v and in 3 pins called DRAIN there we have to find a voltage of over 300v if all these tests are correct at first it tells us that the integrated circuit can It's good if you like the video don't forget to leave your LIKE thanks
