As part of his talk, he shared with us his coming of age and questions related to searching for his roots and finding his own place in Czech society. Renne tells a powerful story about the search for identity, bullying in childhood and the general stereotyping of Vietnamese in the Czech Republic. Music plays an important and even therapeutic role in his story. What is behind his current success and how does he cope with toxic masculinity? Renne is a Czech-Vietnamese rapper/musician with a strong personal story about his Vietnamese origin, non-conformity of style and music. He holds a gold record for his debut solo album CON LAI and a platinum record for his third album DANG. He won a double platinum record for his second solo album THÁI.
