One of the biggest villains of procrastination is laziness. Your brain is a pattern-creating machine. It likes to save energy all the time, that is, in a way, it is lazy. That's why it conditions itself, because it wants to save energy to work less and less. But this is not always the best strategy, especially when we stop doing the most important things in our daily lives. We all need to condition our minds to stop procrastinating. In this video, I present four strategies to help you stop procrastinating once and for all and start today. The first is to immediately perform any activity that lasts up to 2 minutes. The second tip is to delegate what is urgent but not important. However, there is a detail to this strategy: keep a notebook so you don't forget the task you delegated. The third strategy is to schedule everything that cannot be delegated. The fourth and final one is to eliminate from your routine everything that is not important or relevant. Much of people's procrastination occurs due to adversities and everyday circumstances. Doing things that are not important is the biggest culprit of procrastination and a drop in performance. Always pay attention to all your activities and when you notice that one of them is not taking you to your greater goal, stop immediately and focus on what really matters. How do you find out? By answering the following question: Will this task take me to where I want to go? If the answer is yes, continue. If it is no, stop. If it is I don't know, stop too.
