The P-40 Warhawk is a fighter plane developed by the American Curtiss-Wright Company. It made its first successful flight in 1938, before the start of World War II. When World War II began, the P-40 was immediately loaned out to the battlefield, where it engaged in fierce aerial battles with Axis fighter planes. The Soviet Army then deployed the Warhawk to the skies above Eastern Europe, and then to Asia, expanding the stage of battle. In this video, we trace how the P-40 Warhawk was developed and used in actual combat. #p40 #fighterplane #weaponsexplanation #military #fighterplaneexplanation #weaponshistory #weaponsencyclopedia #military #army #USArmy #WorldWarII #NorthAfricanFrontline #FlyingTigers #PacificWar
