Hey guys! In this video we did a minor tune up on a 2007 Hobda Civic, changed spark plugs, filters, washed the throttle body, among other things. I can say that the most tedious part of this job is removing the throttle body, mostly because of its location and because it has many connections that get in the way when working on it. Remember that preventative maintenance on our engines is what will guarantee the long life of our engines and their proper functioning :D Tips for mechanics: Wear protective glasses. Wear gloves (believe me, you'll thank me). Before starting to work on the suspension, apply WD-40 to the screws. Use threadlocker (blue) on the screws so that vibrations don't pull them out over time. Get a breaker bar. Invest in tools, it's the best thing you can do. Always keep your tools in order. Cleaning your shop is essential. Never leave a caliper hanging. Always have a snack available. If you're just starting out, use your phone to take pictures of your process so you don't get lost when you're putting it together ;). Always mark your bolts to make sure they don't come loose.
