#Hijab means covering. For a #Muslim woman, the hijab is an Islamic form of women's clothing that comes in three variants: 1. In society, in front of non-mahram men 2. In front of mahram relatives 3. In front of the husband From Sura 24:31, 33:59 and the example [sunna] of women taught by the Prophet Muhammad (s.) such as Fatima (a.) and Khadija (a.) and traditions, scholars derive the following conditions for the perfect hijab for a woman: The hijab should cover the entire body, except for the face and hands. It should be simple or appropriate in color according to the respective customs and culture and should not attract attention. This does not mean that covering up in a non-Islamic environment is noticeable anyway. The covering should not emphasize the contours of the body. The hijab should cover the woman's charms and beauty. This also includes make-up, jewelry, and perfume. These things also emphasize a woman's beauty. Make-up is supposed to emphasize beauty; that's what it's intended for; that's what it's produced for. And we're allowed to wear make-up, but only in front of our Mahram. This emphasized beauty of us women is not intended for all men's eyes! The point of covering up is, among other things, that a Muslim woman wants to be perceived as a personality in society, regardless of her femininity. The exploitation of women and their bodies in the West has now reached blatant proportions. Advertising, films, fashion. Everything revolves around a woman's beauty and exploits it. And Muslim women who wear their hijab and headscarf according to God's law do not submit to this exploitation. Because those who try to spread this image of beauty don't like the fact that we rebel against it, that we don't bow to this pressure, and that we don't allow ourselves to be exploited, and because they have the media in their hands, they try to convince society that we Muslim women who wear hijabs are unfree, when in fact they want to take away our freedom! Women who cover themselves, who don't want to be exploited, are put under pressure by society through discrimination in their everyday lives and at work. And it is precisely for this reason that we Muslim women in the West must wear the hijab consciously. We must know that the hijab preserves our freedom and identity. That the hijab is our protection! Because only then can we wear it with self-confidence, argue and present ourselves consciously and, above all, steadfastly advance on God's path, inshaAllah.
