In "Hessen from Above: The North" the low mountain ranges are flown over: The program shows landscapes in snow-covered winter and in bloom. Drones and helicopters are used to reach places that would otherwise be difficult to access. From the Waldecker Upland over the Kellerwald, the flight goes over the Spessart, Rhön and the Hoher Meissner and back towards Wolfhagen and Reinhardswald. He meets skiers and alphorn players in Willingen and the star of the Knüll wildlife park: Alexa, the baby brown bear. There are gigantic and astonishing views to be experienced from the highest mountain in Hesse, the Wasserkuppe, and in the middle of the Reinhardswald the always fascinating Sababurg. It is also a real, completely new experience from above.
