Hello everyone, today we're talking about communication vs. conditioning. In horsemanship, our goal is always communication. The unique selling point is that our horse doesn't always give the same answer to a certain signal. In practical terms, this means: we can wave our stick, but our horse will remain relaxed if we are relaxed in our body. However, if we bring an intention into our body and thus ask our horse to move away with its hindquarters, for example, then it will do so. In this video, I use the example of the hindquarters, but you can and should apply this principle to everything you do when dealing with your horse. Your horse should never start to anticipate things, because that means it is no longer listening to you properly! I hope the video helps you and reminds you of the importance of this small detail! Sorry for the autofocus and that my camera switched off... I'm still experimenting with my equipment and the right settings. If you have any tips for me, just let me know! Otherwise, I'll be happy to answer your questions in the comments or send me an email, or check out my Instagram profile!
