Mine / lexxflaber While replacing the power steering pump, we accidentally discovered a new problem: something was dripping onto the accessory belt, it was getting soggy and becoming unusable. Something had to be done about it. The most likely source of the problem could be the high-pressure fuel pump. To get to it, you have to disassemble the front end quite a bit. We disassembled it. Since I was sick again, my friend took the pump to some specialists. Some of them turned out to be extremely cloudy, he had a row with them and left. My friend Moskvichist recommended a friend who could do it. He replaced all the internal components. I brought the pump to the car, they installed it, but it started leaking even more. They disassembled it again, I took it to where it was made. They found the problem, fixed it. They installed the pump back. It seems to be working... But it was a fun adventure... ;)
