Gravitational wave hunting pulsars - Gravitational waves were first detected interferometrically in 2015, one hundred years after they were predicted. But these were waves with frequencies in the hundreds of hertz. To detect lower frequency waves, we need a much larger device, even larger than the Solar System. Pulsars can serve as a detector comparable to the dimensions of our entire Galaxy. The first successes of the new detection method came this year.
