Chval was always the man of Jan Luxemburg, while Ondřej was the man of Margrave Karel. The relationship between the two Luxembourgers has always been complicated, and even though King Jan eventually recognized that Ondřej was in the right and acknowledged and confirmed the deed of donation to Jenčov, which his son Karel issued, with his signature and seal, he could not simply back down in order not to lose face. And so he set a condition for Ondřej that he would have to participate in three of his military campaigns if he himself invited him. The year is 1341 and the king has less than five years left to live. Will the king forget his pettiness, or will Ondřej be invited to follow him into battle?
