I must admit that at first, being a human being didn't really appeal to me. And very early on, I wondered if I couldn't stop the experiment and go home. In my younger years, I experienced my presence on earth as a bad dream from which I would inevitably wake up, in a gentler elsewhere, where I would not be part of the oppressors. In hindsight, I believe I "went with the flow", acted or reacted as events occurred. To the point that at one point I had the feeling that my life was too small, to the point of wondering if it was really mine. Today, I have emerged from this bad dream, I think about my life differently, my world has changed. Walking with me, although without my knowledge, my other life was within reach, a silent but very real proposition. In this book, I retrace the path that led to my "other life". It can be taken by everyone, it leads neither to happiness nor to joy, not even to serenity.
