By a coincidence, Artur's parents are killed at home by bandits, he does not have time to save them. At his parents' funeral, Artur meets his father's friend, Mark Ugryumy, who persuades him to go with him to Moscow. Ugryumy is a crime boss and a double agent. For many years, he has been working for the secret services, filtering contract killings of warring groups. Ugryumy needs a professional shooter. In Moscow, Artur meets the outlaw German, a member of Ugryumy's group, and, finding himself drawn into a criminal showdown, ends up under investigation. After a series of tragic events, Artur changes and comes to Ugryumy himself to become a hired killer.
