[Program Content] Can you imagine a world where you forget what is happening "now" after 7 seconds? Junko Mizuta from Mie Prefecture (47 years old at the time of the broadcast in 2016) developed herpes encephalitis in 2007 and is now only able to remember things for about 7 seconds. She lives her life taking notes on events, conversations with friends, expressions on other people's faces, and other things that are happening in front of her, whenever and wherever she is. This documentary program follows Mizuta for 3 years as she faces this disease, where memories from 7 seconds ago are gradually disappearing. What is memory? What is the self? What is life? We will consider these questions.
