About :

Mustafa (46) has been working as an air traffic controller for almost 20 years. Together with his colleagues, he is responsible for the airspace over southern Germany in Munich. He speaks to pilots and coordinates aircraft from the center so that they do not fly too close to each other. There are many unusual things about Mustafa's job: He gets paid more than anyone else on our channel so far. In addition, he is only allowed to sit at the radar screen for a maximum of six hours during his working hours and takes at least two hours' break. Because his job can be very stressful, he is only allowed to work in active air traffic until the age of 57. That is why Mustafa saves a lot to supplement his statutory pension. As an air traffic controller, Mustafa is exposed to a lot of stress at times. When he speaks to pilots, it becomes clear how serious his job is. Despite this, he seems very relaxed with his 20 years of professional experience. For safety reasons, we were not allowed to accompany him for the entire day, but only for two hours during his early shift. That is "Is it worth it?": One person, one job, one life. And at the end of the day, the question is: is it worth it? We accompany people in their careers and show their lives. Is it worth it to work for a salary and use it to finance your own life?
