Before I asphalted the road in my 0 gauge railway crossing diorama, I experimented extensively with different materials. I worked with these products: texture paste from Vallejo, our Vampirock (plaster), Fibre Paste (paper fibre paste) from Golden and PCI Nanofug joint mortar. Unfortunately, the video is once again very long - the algorithm will punish me for this - I just wanted to include all the filmed material and think that some of it will be informative for one or two people. The part about colour processing in particular is a bit long-winded. Feel free to skip a chapter. A video on the actual construction of the diorama will be released soon.
