On the occasion of the 11th nationwide ARCHIVES DAY, the Halberstadt City Archives at Domplatz 31 (Gleimhaus) will also open its doors to anyone interested on Saturday, March 5, 2022 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. For all those who cannot be there in person, we will show unusual, particularly unusual archival documents that will be explained in detail. In keeping with the motto of ARCHIVES DAY "Facts, stories, curiosities". Some documents in the archive are remarkable because of their content or their special format, others are not just made of paper and are therefore considered to be documents that are not typical for an archive. For example, if you want to know what the Halberstadt harbor and the Huybahn project or a logbook from Columbus and the Golden Book of the Halberstadt Stephaneum are all about, then please watch our video.
