Composition is an essential subject for learning photography, beyond the rule of thirds or the golden ratio. Today we are going to take the first step to learn photographic composition in a conscious and effective way. We will reveal the logic behind each type of rule and propose practical methods to master the act of composing. More than following the scripts of the camera, this is a photography technique that has a similar logic that very few people decide to explore in depth. The rule of thirds is NOT putting the object in the third and that's it. There is a logic behind this fact that is intrinsic to the function of composing. Every photograph is composed, well or badly, consciously or unconsciously. It is the nature of visual stories. We are going to take a step further in understanding this very important element of our language.
