DIY PANTS How to make flared shorts In this video I show you how to sew flared shorts, it's a skirt-pants type. To make it I started with some pants, I traced the base pattern and I made some modifications to the pattern to gain width and make the pants have more flare. In the video you will see that I cut two pieces of the pants at the back, DO NOT do this like this. You have to cut 4 pieces, two front pieces and two back pieces, since I didn't realize and when sewing the crotches I had to join the front crotch with the back crotch, what I did was to embed them so they match. But to do it right, you have to cut two back pieces and two front pieces to join the front crotch of one piece with the front crotch of the other front piece, and the same with the back pieces.
