Spiritual life is in the Spirit when, worshiping the Living God in the Church, you mold something living from your church life. This is both wonderful and risky. “To learn to pray,” says Fr. Savva, “you need to respond to every encounter with prayerful sympathy. And this is the fruit of your personal responsibility before God, prayer is the fruit of your spiritual creativity.
