Invitation to the Day of the Young Stallions 2023 October 14th Start: 11 a.m. Fohlenhof Ebbs Admission free. With our video impressions from the Day of the Young Stallions 2022, we take you along for 10 minutes and cordially invite you to a very special day for us every year, the Day of the Young Stallions 2023 with alpine festival and supporting program, at the Haflinger stud farm Fohlenhof Ebbs. www.haflinger-tirol.com/hengstalmabtrieb The Day of the Young Stallions is a very special day for us and all breeders every year. On this day, the new stallion candidates of all 7 bloodlines move into the foal farm and the 1 ½ and 2 ½ year old stallions return healthy from the alpine pasture to the foal farm for the winter months. This special picture is unique in the world! Over 30 young Tyrolean Haflinger stallions, totally relaxed, walk with you through every terrain led by the Tyrolean Haflinger young breeders. The four-hour hike from Hengstalm to the Haflinger stud farm Fohlenhof Ebbs is a true sign of trust in the human partner. It is a confirmation of the outstanding character of this special, strong-willed, balanced, robust and beautiful horse breed and part of the world's unique stallion breeding. We ask for your understanding that this 15-kilometer hike will continue to be deliberately quiet and that hiking to the center of Ebbs is not permitted. Accompany the Haflinger stallions on the last few kilometers The young stallions' path leads through the Haflinger village of Ebbs. We will reach the Oberwirt at around 12:30 p.m. and we would like to invite you to accompany the Haflinger stallions on the last few kilometers to the Fohlenhof. At 1:00 p.m. we will enter the arena together and celebrate the end of the alpine summer. The preparation: As every year, the young stallions are washed the day before by the young Tyrolean breeders and then enjoy their last night on the mountain pasture. Of course, in 2023, a small alpine decoration for each young stallion will not be missing. As every year, these are made from alpine flowers and herbs that the alpine pasture still produces at this time of year. Since 1947, our young stallions have been reared in a herd rearing system close to nature with two alpine summers on their stallion pasture. Animal welfare is paramount. There are many beautiful alpine pasture drives in Tyrol, but this one is unique in the world. We cordially invite all interested parties and friends of the Tyrolean Haflinger horse to this one. #tirolerhaflinger #haflingerpferdezuchtverbandtirol #fohlenhofebbs #haflingertirol
