As expected, given what we've seen this season, David Alonso was the first to claim the title after a season of absolute dominance in the Moto3 World Championship. At 18 years old, the Spanish-Colombian has kicked down the door to establish himself as the great pearl of world motorcycling, one of those riders 'touched by the magic wand' who has a promising future ahead of him.
