Dante's Inferno is a game developed by Visceral Games released in 2010, it tells the story of Dante who has to go through the 9 circles of hell to save his wife. The game is a Hack and Slash and because of that, in addition to other similarities such as the quick time event or the fact that it is a game based on Christian mythology, it made many people compare it to God of War. But in my opinion, Dante's Inferno manages to do many merits to have its own identity and differentiate itself from the games starring Kratos.
