Most importantly, Finn and Jake laugh together at the silly and ridiculous jokes they tell as they traverse a large and treacherous island, looking for adventures to pass the time. At first glance you probably wouldn't realize it, but Finn is a powerful hero. That's right, he's passionate about heroism. For a twelve-year-old, saving princesses and fighting evil wizards is an admirable pastime. Finn doesn't know why he is drawn to protecting good from evil, it's just something he understands is necessary. It may be in his blood, maybe his parents were doers of good like him. Maybe they are real cosmic cowboys fighting intergalactic outlaws in space, maybe they are presidents of the honorable Dinosaur Knights. Finn doesn't know his mysterious origins. Even though he doesn't have the skills to win a battle, Finn is a stubborn little boy when it comes to standing up to evil. Finn isn't very strong, he's a bit small, with a big head and small feet. What Finn does have is a solid moral compass, a set of values, and a lot of nerve! That's what makes him a hero. He remains strong when faced with adversity. Throwing caution to the wind, to protect the people he loves. Finn enjoys everything a normal kid enjoys, making up songs and crashing monster parties. And when evil isn't running wild? Finn spends his free time jumping on rocks, rolling in the grass, or exploring his favorite adventure spots. Jake is like a big brother or a cool uncle to Finn. Of course, they're both quite young, in dog years, Jake is 28 years old. Jake is quite playful, everything can be a joke until things get serious. And when it's serious, like when Finn is sad or discouraged, Jake is a good listener and knows exactly what to say. Come and get ready to travel to faraway lands with Jake the dog and Finn the human, the fun will never end. It's adventure time!
