The third episode of the SBT Brasil series “Centro do Crime”, this Thursday (14), portrays the people who live in Cracolândia, located in the central region of São Paulo. Reporters Fábio Diamante and Robinson Cerantula show the unprecedented Cracolândia Census carried out by the Civil Police. For six months, during each operation in the heart of the city's drug trafficking, the police took drug addicts to the police station and identified them. The Cracolândia Census recorded an average flow of drug users during the day alone, between Monday and Friday, between 400 and 600 people. When night falls, the number is even higher, between 800 and 1200. On weekends, the peaks of drug users smoking crack in the open air range from 1200 to 2000.
