[english below] In the first semester of 2022, Selvagem and Princeton University held a hybrid course called Environmental Literature: Thinking Through Plants. This is Selvagem’s first academic intervention. Created by Anna Dantes and Pedro Meira Monteiro, the course involved seven undergraduate, master's and doctoral students at Princeton in the production of an experimental film and a collective notebook. The notebook, available on the Selvagem website, is the score of the choreography designed by reflections, narratives and creative productions, experienced by the group of students (Allie, Catarina, Ethan, David, Pedro, Liam and Nora) and by Victoria Mouawad, from Selvagem . This dance also catalyzed other dancers. Ailton Krenak, José Miguel Wisnik and Iara Rennó enjoyed a conversation with our hybrid class mediated by Pedro Meira, which can be watched here.
