Construction work on the new Abbadia Veneta and Borghetto model from 2020 to 2024. In this video you will see all the photos and videos of the work carried out on the model year by year (from 2020 to 2024). In March 2020 we began to design the track layout with the consequent technical tests of inclination in the upper part. Subsequently, in the summer of 2020 we began to lay the tracks (electrified through the track circuits in November 2020) and the switches (the switch boxes were installed in December 2020). In March 2021 we had started laying the tracks and switches also towards the locomotive depot, the shelter tracks and the Abbadia Veneta yard with the consequent electrification of the tracks and the switchboxes in April 2021. In June 2021 we had renewed the control desk of the model in the wooden table with the consequent novelty: the labeling of the control panel boxes and transformers. In July 2021 we had laid the platforms in the Abbadia Veneta and Borghetto stations in the same European standard height (55 cm) but in H0 1:87 scale with the related fake underpasses and the real floor with the yellow lines for the visually impaired. In September 2021 we had laid the Warning, Protection and Departure signals in the stations and in full line with the activation that took place in April 2022. In February 2023 we had laid the telephone posts (T) in full line, in the protection signals and in the stations. In May 2024 we had laid the ballast on all the tracks of the model and placed the street lamps in the stations with the activation not yet occurred. In July 2024 we had begun to lay the other and final light signals, which are the high departure indicators and the marmots, with the activation of all of them having occurred in October 2024. In November 2024, due to a problem with a switch, we had cut a small shelter track of the Abbadia Veneta Station with the consequent suppression of a track and a switch. At the end of 2025 I will publish all the work carried out on the model in that year. As I continue to work on the model, I will illustrate on this channel all the work carried out year by year. Enjoy!
