Inline sixes with two turbines, which gained immense popularity among manufacturers, completely disappeared in the early 2000s, they were replaced by naturally aspirated V6s, both from Nissan and Toyota. Moreover, inline engines are difficult to place crosswise under the hood, and any manufacturer wants maximum unification of both engines and gearboxes! But in 2006, the situation changed, BMW entered the market with its new creation - the N54 engine! Everything is old school and many people love the inline six with a couple of good turbines, that's the whole recipe for the love of the consumer, who is delighted with powerful engines! Soon we will definitely talk separately about the N54 and its capabilities, because 1,000 horsepower is not the limit for it! And in Europe, this has long been known. And today we have a fresh S55B30 raised to the technical absolute, which was installed in the BMW M2 M3 M4!
