Ingredients 4 beef schnitzels Salt Black pepper Mustard 2 tbsp flour 1 onion (large) 4 carrots 1/2 celery 2 tbsp tomato paste Stock cubes Preparation: Peel and finely chop the onion (if you like, cut the bacon into cubes). Peel the carrots and celery. Salt and pepper the beef schnitzel. Spread one side with mustard and coat it in flour. Fry the meat in a little oil on both sides and then place in a casserole dish. Fry the bacon cubes (if you like) and add the onion. Grate the carrots and celery and also fry with the bacon and onion. Fry some tomato paste, dust with 1 tbsp flour and pour in water. Then pour the sauce over the meat and cook for 1 1/2 hours at 160 degrees until soft. Take the meat out of the sauce briefly and puree it. Season to taste with soup seasoning and salt.
