From Timmendorfer Strand we explored the above places by bike. Cycling, swimming and sightseeing - the perfect holiday: Day 1: Via Niendorf along the Brodtener Steiluferweg past the Hermannshöhe to Travemünde and back. Enjoyed the old town, harbor, beach and the beautiful path along the steep bank. Day 2: Via Scharbeutz, Haffkrug and Sierksdorf past the Hansa Park to Neustädter Bucht and back. Day 3: Via Niendorf, Brodten and Gneversdorf back to Travemünde and from there by ferry to Priwall to the border memorial stone. Back along the steep coast again. Day 4: Via Niendorf, Warnsdort, Ratekau and Bad Schwartau to Lübeck. Back by boat to Travemünde and back over the steep coast. Holstentor, old town, Gängeviertel, St. Petri Church, town hall, Lübeck Cathedral, Marienkirche, Salspeicher and Buddenbrookhaus Day 5: Circumnavigation of Hemmelsdorfer See: Via Niendorf past the bird park and the Hermann-Löns-Blick over Hemmelsdorf, Offendorf, Grammersdorf, Warndorf and Häven back to Niendorf. There, walk beneath the cliffs and back to Timmendorfer Strand. Day 6: Circumnavigated Dassower See by car and bike and continued the bike ride to Boltenhagen from the boundary stone on the Priwall. (Continuation of day 3) Same way back. Day 7: Niendorf bird park Day 8: Bathing day with a beach chair ACCOMMODATION: Timmendorfer Strand is an insider tip that can no longer be booked and is run by an older lady. In a good, inexpensive and very private atmosphere.
