In October, we drive through the Indian summer through the Savoy Alps to Moustiers-Ste-Marie in Provence and to the Lac de Sante Croix, to Quinson to the lower Verdon Gorge, via Le Plan-de-la-Tour to La Garde-Freinet, to La Ciotat on the Cote d'Azur at the Calanque National Park. On the way back, we make a longer stop in Orpierre in the Hautes-Alpes department, at the large Lac du Bourget lake in Aix-les-Bains in the mountains in Savoy. At the end, we visit the Rhine Falls in Schaffhausen. On our trip, we hike, visit the towns and visit markets. We stay at campsites, for example at Camping du Sierroz in Aix-Les-Bains, Camping Koawa Princes d Orange in Orpierre, Camping Manaysse in Moustiers-Ste-Marie, Camping Santa Gusta near La Ciotat, and in free parking spaces with toilets in Quinson, La Garde-Freinet, Le Plan-de-la-Tour.
