Hey! The handle of the Austrian type scythe is somewhat different from the scythe commonly used in Estonia. The lower handle is located away from the handle, which results in a much lower position of the blade than on scythes commonly used in Estonia. The Austrian scythe could be called the king of scythes. Austrian scythes, and especially the blades of scythes produced in Austria, are considered the best in the world. I made my first mowing with the Austrian type scythe. You can find out my first experiences and thoughts in the video.
