The aim of the 'ARCHITECTURAL CRITICISM' panels is to look beyond the visible face of architecture and to deepen this examination with the contributions of valuable architects and academicians in the sector. The first meeting held on June 9th at MSGSÜ Sedad Hakkı Eldem Auditorium was the venue supporter Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, the main supporter Kalebodur and the sessions supporter Nurus. Prof. Dr. Celal Abdi Güzer, Nevzat Sayın and Prof. Dr. Tansel Korkmaz Bilgin were on the stage in the second session of the day. Prof. Dr. Celal Abdi Güzer METU Architecture Department Lecturer He teaches courses on architectural criticism and runs a design studio. He has numerous national and international publications focused on theory, criticism and design. He has served as a jury member in various competitions and has received numerous degrees and awards, four of which were first place, in architectural project competitions. He served as the general president of the Architects' Association 1927. Nevzat Sayın Until 1980, the architect conducted a master's degree study on social housing; until 1984, he was interested in post-school architectural education with the master-apprentice method; and until 1986, he was interested in knowledge/experience-enhancing trips. He has been continuing his architectural studies with different office structures since 1986. Dreams, Thoughts, Works was published in 2004, A Construction Book in 2015, Thoughts, Works in 2019, and Architecture as a Geographical Matter in 2021. He is a founding member of the Istanbul Bilgi University Architecture Master's Program. Prof. Dr. Tansel Korkmaz Bilgin Kent University, Faculty of Art and Architecture, Lecturer He received his bachelor's, master's and doctorate degrees from METU Faculty of Architecture. He worked at METU until 2001. In 2005, he was a member of the founding team of Istanbul Bilgi University Architecture Master's Program. He teaches courses on the history/theory/criticism of modern architecture and beyond. He has conducted studios on the protection of urban cultural heritage and urban rehabilitation, and has published numerous articles on these subjects.
