The first part of the show "Dashakol according to Marjan", the latest work of Bahram Bayzaei, a well-known figure of Iranian literature, culture and art, was staged with the support of Stanford University's Center for Iranian Studies in the early days of October 1403 at Roda Hall in Berkeley, California, USA. This show narrates the famous short story "Dash Akel" written by Sadegh Hedayat in a new approach and from the point of view of Marjan's character. Mojdeh Shamsaei, Amer Musafir, Dina Zarif, Ali Zandieh and Mehdi Hafazi Manshadi are the main actors of this show. The show "Dash-Akol according to Marjan" can be considered one of the most explicit works of Bahram Baizai in his career, in which the social contexts of the story and the critical role of characters such as Imam Jummah and religious jurists are highlighted above all. In an interview with Radio Farda, Bahram Bayzaei explained about the writing and performance of the play "Dash Akol according to Marjan" and its characters. Among other things, he said about the critical view of Imam Jumeh's character in this show: "They were always in power." They have never been weak. By brainwashing a nation, they practically always stayed in power."
