In the current DIN 14555 standard, there is only one rescue vehicle, so you will hardly find RWs with the previous designation RW 1, RW 2 or RW 3 anymore. The rescue vehicle is a rolling toolbox for technical assistance. There is also the equipment vehicle logistics 1 (GW-L1) and equipment vehicle logistics 2 (GW-L2). Both can transport roll containers on a loading area and can therefore be used for different areas, depending on the roll container. A GW-L2 with the right equipment is the successor to the hose truck 2000 (SW 2000). The hazardous materials vehicle (GW-G) is alerted to hazardous materials operations. Here, too, there is only one type without the previous subdivisions (GW-G1, GW-G2, GW-G3). Finally, there are swap-loader vehicles (WLF) with roll-off containers (AB), which can pick up and set down roll-off containers for various tasks. This ranges from mobile operations management, to fire water containers, to the transport of special equipment such as a fire support vehicle (LUF). The swap-loaders are available as 2-axle swap-loaders, 3-axle swap-loaders and 4-axle swap-loaders. Chapter overview: 00:00 Introduction 01:41 1. Rescue vehicle (RW) 05:20 2.
