There are places that look like they're straight out of a fairytale book: one such place is the Hintersee in Ramsau, at the foot of the mighty Hochkalter in the Berchtesgaden Alps. The Auzinger Inn is located on this lake - completely isolated and idyllic. It was already known to the Munich painters of the Romantic era, who liked to stay here to paint the fascinating mountain landscape. In the middle of the 19th century, the Auzinger became a popular meeting place for artists. Today, the singers and musicians from the Berchtesgaden region set the tone here. The Hillebrand family, who run the inn, are not only known for their good, down-to-earth cuisine, but also for their folk music evenings. They also take part in these themselves. From the senior boss to the grandchildren, everyone is an enthusiastic singer and musician. BR presenter Markus Tremmel is looking forward to an atmospheric Advent evening at the Auzinger. And because the old customs are also very much appreciated in Ramsau, he accompanies some musicians to their houses and villages and lets them show him what happens there during Advent.
