In this video we will completely disassemble a K9K 702 Renault DCi engine (Kangoo I phase 2 from 2005) with 504,300 km, and assess the wear of the parts. I also give practical advice for those who plan to change their engine, disassemble the cylinder head or even completely renovate the original injectors. I mainly filmed live, camera in hand, so there are some flaws but I hope it can help you in some way. Correction: there is an error concerning the comparison of the camshaft caps, since I accidentally mixed them up. The different caps - the one with the groove and the other without - come in pairs since at the two ends of the camshaft, the diameter of the shaft is different. These are indeed caps from identical DCi engines.
