There were simply too many defects that significantly cloud the overall picture. Defects: 1.) The air damper for the rear wheel loses an extremely large amount of air and has to be pumped up every 150 km at the latest. 2.) The luggage rack is asymmetrical, which affects the aesthetics and makes the bike look inferior. 3) The belt drive broke twice within two years, which was very annoying. And each time meant high costs and a lot of time. 4.) High inspection and repair costs for a new vehicle within 2 years of €800. 5.) Long stays and repairs in the workshop because parts from Riese & Müller could only be delivered after a long wait. Positive things about the Delite: Design and workmanship Elegant and well thought-out design. Beautiful aesthetics and functionality. The frame is very robust. Riding comfort The riding comfort of the Delite is outstanding. The full suspension allows you to glide over bumps and uneven roads, depending on the damper setting. Motor and battery Powerful Bosch Performance Line CX motor that offers very good support. The battery capacity of 625 Wh is sufficient. Handling and safety The handling is sporty and dynamic. The precise steering and the disc brakes ensure a safe driving experience.
