The position is belly to belly, with the baby facing the mother. Here on the channel there is a video with tips for the correct latch: • LEARN THE CORRECT LATCH FOR BREASTFEEDING... 2) Inverted The baby's head is forward and the feet are back, pointing towards the backrest wherever the mother is. Very useful in situations where the baby will only accept one breast. 3) Horseback The mother places the baby sitting facing her, one leg on each side, and holds the baby's head with her hand. 4) Lying down The mother lies on her side and positions the baby in front of her, both “belly to belly”. The baby's head should be on a slight elevation.
