The self-propelled anti-aircraft vehicle was created by structurally combining two mass-produced units, the Praga V3S vehicle and the 30mm PLdvK vz. 53. The engine and chassis were preserved from the vehicle, on which was placed a lightly armored body protecting the crew against the effects of shrapnel and to a large extent against fire from infantry weapons. The chassis of the vehicle was equipped with a device to prevent suspension of the rear axles during firing.
