INGREDIENTS: 2 cups of all-purpose wheat flour = 280gr = 14 tablespoons (you can use whole wheat flour) 1 tablespoon of sugar = 18.5gr (you can change the sugar for honey or any diet sweetener of your choice) 1 egg (room temperature) ¾ cup + 1 tablespoon of warm milk = 200ml = 16 tablespoons 3 tablespoons of vegetable or olive oil = 37.5ml 5gr of granulated dry baker's yeast = 1 full teaspoon (if you use fresh baker's yeast use 15gr) 1 teaspoon of salt. 1 rectangular mold of 30 cm long x 7 or 8 high, greased with oil. Aluminum foil and oil to brush the bread before putting it in the oven. PREPARATION: Mix all the ingredients except the wheat flour, beat until smooth and add the mixture to the flour, beat with a wooden spoon for 2 minutes to activate the gluten and make a homogeneous and elastic dough. Let it rest for 1 hour in a warm place without air currents to rise. After 1 hour it should have risen to double its size, degas the dough with the help of a wooden spoon, place it in the greased mould, cover and let it rise for 1 hour in the same warm place where you stored the dough previously. 10 minutes before the end of the hour, turn on the oven to 200ºC. After the hour the dough should have risen to double its size. Wrap the mould with aluminium foil greased with oil so that the bread does not stick to the paper while it is rising and thus it will give the perfect shape of a loaf of bread. You can also bake without the aluminium foil. Place in the oven and bake for 45 to 50 minutes. If after 45 minutes it is golden brown on top, remove from the oven as it is ready.
