2024 Yeongnam Dance Festival 'Dance, I Want to See You' Korean Traditional Dance (2) Date: July 24, 2024, 7:30 PM Venue: Yejidang, Busan National Gugak Center Host: Busan National Gugak Center Title: Nongaebyeolgok Performer: Seong Yun-seon Contents: This is a very unique Dongnamtori dance created by Kim Gyeong-ran in honor of the last work of Kim Su-ak, which was performed at the Nongaeje (祭) to commemorate Nongae. It is an impressive salpuri dance with a unique towel movement that combines the style of Jinju's gisaengbang with the colors of the shamanism of the southern coast. It contains the historical background of Jinju, the home of Nongae, in a narrative structure, and immerses you in ritualistic dance movements such as Banya Yongseon, Cheondo, and Yongtrim, as well as symbolic dance movements such as Yeonhwasawi, Jwaseonsawi, and Hwidori, in a dramatic structure to heighten the tension of the dance.
