Sticky notes, highlighters, rhymes - how to find the key to success? During the meeting with Dr. Anna Ziółkowska, we tried to answer difficult questions about memory and learning. How many times are the words "Study, or you won't pass your final exams?!" repeated? How many times have we been an example that it's not enough to study, you also have to learn? Where is the problem in acquiring knowledge by pupils and students? Is rote memorization effective? What allows us to better retrieve information from our brain? The aim of Dr. Ziółkowska's lecture is to present the basic principles of effective learning and to show the possibilities of their practical use in the learning process. Participants learned the most important theories and research results regarding memorizing, storing and retrieving assimilated information from memory.
